School closure tomorrow

Dear all,

after much deliberation this evening, the governors and I have decided to close the school tomorrow. We wanted to make a clear decision as early as possible so that you could make arrangements for child care if you need to. Freezing conditions over night will mean that the approaches to the school are treacherous. We are of the view that it is not worth putting anyone’s safety at risk. We will aim to work tomorrow to try and get the school site safe for Tuesday but please keep an eye on the weather.

Y2 trip postponed

We are still monitoring the situation in regards to school being open tomorrow. We have to take a number of factors into account, the main one being the safety of the children.

Unfortunately we have taken the decision to postpone the trip to the Hindu temple at Neasden. There is more snow forecast for tomorrow afternoon and we just don’t want to take any chances by putting our pupils at risk on roads in freezing conditions.

School Closing at 12 noon today!

Due to adverse weather conditions. We will be closing at 12pm today. Please come and collect your children as soon as possible so that everyone can get home safely.
