We had a fantastic morning with the open the book team who organised some fantastic activities for us all. We then ended our day with an Easter egg hunt which the PTA organised.

We had a fantastic time at Oxford Castle. The children had some fantastic questions and recalled lots of information we had previously learnt about. We climbed the 101 stairs to the top of the tower which had fantastic views, went to Matilda's secret hideout, went into the prison and had a fantastic workshop looking at artefacts.

Rainbows’ Trip to Odds Farm!
Our topic this term is 'Out and About.' We had a lovely time visiting Odds Farm, learning about the different animals and how to look after them. We helped bottle feed the goats, we fed the sheep, stroked the rabbits and had a great tractor ride too!

Rainbow 2 ‘Come Outside’ Wow Day
We had a lovely day launching our new topic, 'Come Outside.' We all dressed up as something to do with the great outdoors! We did lots of exciting activities including making our own biodegradable pots and planting sunflower seeds to take home to grow. We can't wait to see how tall they get!

Rainbow 2 ‘Feed The Birds’
After reading 'Owl Babies' we had a big discussion about how we could look after our local wildlife. The children decided they would like to make bird feeders. We rolled some cardboard in honey and then in lots of bird seed and hung our bird feeders on the trees!

Rainbow 2 ‘Sparkling, glittering horizons!!’
We have had the best week in Rainbow 2! It was our specialist week, 'Glittering, sparkling horizons' where we looked at all sorts of different careers and thought carefully about what we might want to be in the future. We were so lucky to have lots of our parents visit to tell us all about their exciting jobs. Thank you to all our fabulous visitors!
