I have been in the teaching profession for over fifteen years now, starting my career in Tottenham, London, and then teaching overseas in Turkey. Ten years ago I returned to my home county of Buckinghamshire where, prior to Haddenham St Mary’s I worked at an infant school in Prestwood and then a large combined school in Aylesbury. I feel so lucky to be leading Haddenham St Mary’s. Not only is it, in my opinion, the most beautiful school in the county but I am lucky to have such a dedicated and hard-working staff and a strong team of governors. I very much enjoy being part of the village community, of which I feel the school is an integral part. Last but not least is our wonderful children for whom I feel deserve the very best as their education is not a rehearsal and for them I will endeavour to ensure that their school ‘sparkles’ in every way!
